The BIG LEAN kicks off on February 3rd. Instead of taking it from me as to why you should give it a whirl, I think Armando’s success story might show you why and how this program is worth your time and effort. I so appreciate Armando’s candor and willingness to share his story. We’ve had a lot of great successes like his with this program, and I hope you’ll give it a try if you’re ready for some change in your life. I guarantee you’ll learn some things about yourself.
BEFORE THE BIG LEAN
AFTER THE BIG LEAN. WOW.
“Joining the Big Lean has been nothing short of life changing for me. It not only changed the way I look and the way I feel, but it taught me how to eat. I was in Peru a couple of weeks ago chatting with a friend and he mentioned I was looking slimmer than in years past and wanted to know how I managed to lose almost 40 pounds in 4 months. I explained that I dropped all booze, sugar, and excess calories. I was eating the bare minimum of what my body required, but through the process, I learned how to negotiate with myself. If I decide to eat more than what I should one night because we have family in town, that’s ok. I would just need to be mindful of that the next day, so I could maybe skip breakfast or go very light on the next few meals. My friend, who happens to be one of the very few fit high school friends I have left, looked at me and said "so you've learned how to eat." For some reason that stuck with me and has been the main theme of my journey through the Big Lean.
I originally joined because I knew I was overweight but mainly I wanted to learn how my plate should look every meal. Having just had our second kid, I knew this could go in two different directions. I’d either let myself go and continue down a path of self-destruction because I don't give myself the time and effort to control my eating habits, or I get my shit together and learn how to eat for the sake of my own health and my family's. I chose the later.
I have so many other notes on this but this was the main theme of my 12 weeks. I learned a lot about myself, about the people around me, and about the amount of power food has. I plan to continue learning and I appreciate the support and material you consistently sent our way.
Cheers,
Armando
