GROUP CLASSES
For many of our members, group classes are the core of their experience. Many of our members thrive on the energy of group workouts, through the support, camaraderie, and connections they offer. We keep our class sizes small enough to maintain excellent opportunities for individual attention and coaching; most of our class members feel that they are getting the best of both personal training (individual coaching) and group classes (fun, motivating, and more cost-effective). PRIVATE COACHING
At TJ's Gym, we understand that some people do best outside of the group exercise model, or with a combination of private coaching and group classes. We can work with you to select a coach who suits your individual training needs and whose schedule matches well with yours. Most of our coaches travel among our three locations, so there is great flexibility in scheduling. We know from years of pairing athletes and coaches that this relationship can be life-changing.
INDIVIDUAL DESIGN
In addition to group classes and personal training, we offer Individual Design (ID) services. This is best for people who want or need a personalized workout program created by a TJ's Gym coach, to address personal fitness goals, help with body composition changes, prepare for a specific event, or manage an injury. You and your ID coach will meet to discuss your goals and needs, and you will receive an online program each week. Your program will tell you exactly what to do at the gym, and your coach will follow along as you input your workout results. This is a great way to build in personal accountability and interactive coaching to your TJ's Gym experience.

FITNESS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!
Teens and Tweens: Our teen strength-and-conditioning program includes cardiovascular training through running, rowing, and jumping rope; speed and agility training through plyometrics, jumping on boxes, footwork drills, and more; core strength and competency in body-weight movements through pullups, pushups, and ring work; and strength development using weight training and other resistance work. We prioritize proper movement mechanics to optimize safety and efficiency in our athletes. Our emphasis is on overall strength and conditioning for all athletes, as opposed to specialized, sport-specific instruction. However, upon request, we also work with teams and individuals for focused, sport-specific training for maximal performance.
Kids: During our kids sessions, children squat, push, pull, throw, run, jump, crawl, row, and do all sorts of movements in mechanically correct ways. Each workout includes refined instruction in at least one elemental movement, a game, and a critical component for improved overall fitness.
Just let us know when you have a group of 3 or more kids who would like to train together, and we will provide a coach and gym space at a time that works for you! You can decide how many classes you want them to have, so there is no long-term commitment and no scheduling hassle!

Our teen classes run year-round, with seasonal commitments. Classes are offered at both of our locations. If you have a group of at least five teens who are ready to start training and would like to add a class, please let us know!
