Reuniting our San Rafael weekday noon crew has been one of the highlights of outdoor workouts in Corte Madera.

 

MESSAGE from Allison and TJ

You don’t need us to tell you that life feels crazy and hard a lot of the time these days. We’re here to help you with self-care and a commitment to your health. We’re hearing and seeing that people are struggling. You’re not alone, and fitness and connection can be key ways back to positivity.

We’ve got a new fall youth session starting tomorrow, open gym availability, personal training openings, virtual classes, and all sorts of accountability programs. Reach out if you need help. Most people do.

Here’s a message from our younger daughter, Hollis, of Juggling for Jude:

“Hi TJ’s community! As many of you know, I’ve been fundraising for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for many years, and I’m now inching closer to my 2020 goal of $500,000!

I’m seeking kids and adults to join my Juggling for Jude Team for this year’s St. Jude SF Walk/Run coming up on Saturday, September 26th. It’s virtual this year, so you can do it ANYWHERE. I’ll be part of the video team kicking off the event, and I’ll also be walking locally with a group of kids (masked & distanced!), following along on the event app, and enjoying an ice cream sponsorship at the end!

Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease past infancy for children in the United States, resulting in 1,800 deaths each year. St. Jude is the world leader in childhood cancer and treatment and research, and they freely share their research and treatment protocols with hospitals worldwide, including many right here in the Bay Area.

No family at St. Jude ever pays for treatment, housing, food or travel.

Raise (or donate) $250 and get TWO 5K training programs written by COACH NICK!

Our Running Strong Program is for people who run as competitors, as part of a fitness routine, or for mental health. Our goal is to help runners of all ages and ability levels become stronger and run more efficiently, so they can continue to run, injury-free, for years to come. Athletes work in a small class environment with Coach Nick, an expert in strength training for runners and other endurance athletes.
