Engineering
Our weekly newsletter is here.
Everyone’s engineering is slightly different.
Having recently committed to doing assessments of every new client at the gyms, I’m having a kind of renaissance around this concept.
I’m welcoming all sorts of new people with varying degrees of fitness, ranging from poor to excellent.
My job is teach them engineering, or how to move.
We start with the roots of human movement: push, pull, bend, and squat.
Here is where i start making absolute statements.
“You will never be allowed to pull weight off the floor until I say you can.”
“You will never squat below this depth until I say you can.”
“You will never use a barbell until I say you can.”
I get to do this because of my expertise in seeing flaws in human movement, and because I care about the outcomes for our clients, I get to have full control of their trajectory here.
I love it.
If you have someone you care about who might benefit from a meeting with me, I’m here to help.
Have a great weekend,
TJ
