Dear Teen Athlete Families,
We’re excited to share that we’re considering launching a new athletic performance training program for our teen athletes, and we’d love to know if your child would be interested before we finalize the details.
What the program covers
- Power training: Helps athletes generate maximum force in the shortest amount of time, the explosive strength behind sprinting, jumping, throwing, and quick changes of direction. This gives athletes a competitive edge in speed and agility in their sport.
- Plyometrics: Trains the body to react and rebound quickly (think fast jumps, cuts, and bursts of movement), which is especially valuable for sports like basketball, soccer, and volleyball.
- Injury prevention: Builds strength, stability, and proper movement patterns around the muscles and joints, helping reduce the risk of strains, sprains, and overuse injuries so athletes can train and compete consistently.
Our approach
The program is structured in 8-week cycles designed to build strong, resilient, and powerful athletes step by step:
- Foundation phase — building strength and muscle (hypertrophy) as a base.
- Progressive overload phase — gradually increasing intensity and complexity.
- Ligament loading phase — strengthening connective tissue for durability.
This gradual, phased approach ensures athletes adapt safely while developing the movement quality, strength, and power that carry over directly to their sport.
The proposed schedule would be Mondays and Thursdays at 6pm and we want to gauge interest from families. If your child would be interested in participating, please reply to me as soon as possible.
