TJ's Gym will change your life. It has certainly changed mine. TJ's Gym is more than a gym. It's a life-changing
force fueled by committed coaches and classmates and workouts that change your body, mind and spirit. No
other fitness program I've ever worked comes close to giving you what you get at TJ's Gym. From the owners on
down, the gym is full of people who will challenge and cheer you in workouts like nothing you've ever
experienced. Belonging to TJ's Gym has changed my life, from the inside out.”
I've been happy to be a part of the TJ's Gym community for well over a year now. Part of the reason
that TJ’s Gym is so successful is because of the achievements each of us make here.
In my first year at TJ's Gym I:
* Lost 70# of fat. No, really. Here is a chart of each weigh-in.

* Dropped down to 9.9% body fat, at the Athletic level (link to:
* Dropped my cholesterol level by 26 points (13%) (link to:
* Dropped my Triglyceride count by 72% (170 to 47)
* Doubled my HDL ("good cholesterol") (from 38 to 57)
* Wear 31" pants, down from 38"

At TJ’s Gym, the coaches help people with all sorts of injuries and limitations, and we all keep getting

Gym there is an engaged, welcoming community of people who will usher you through the learning
curve and both inspire you and commiserate with you along the way. TJ’s Gym is more than a gym. It is
a family. You'll get help when you need it, inspiration on a daily basis and straight talk when you need
TJ’s Gym has, by far, the best class of people! TJ, his wife, Allison, the coaches, and the members are the
highest caliber of individuals you will ever meet. You will be challenged, you will be sore, you will question why
you do these workouts, you will lay flat on your back after each workout, you might cry, you may throw up, but in
the end when you get in your car....and you will think to yourself..."That was awesome, can't wait for the next
TJ's Gym has turned my life around. I'm no great athlete. I'm an older woman who just wanted to get a
little strength to fight off osteoporosis and maybe, just maybe, somehow improve my golf game. After
my first 8 months at TJ’s, I've never been stronger or in better shape. I've done my share of gym
memberships/personal trainers etc. in the past. But after awhile the routines became boring, the
workouts predictable, the results flat. At TJ's Gym, every day is different. Every level of strength and
fitness is acknowledged and worked on. I work out twice a week with people half my age, and we're
all always, cheering each other on. And, my golf game has improved dramatically; I went from an 18
handicap to a 13 since joining TJ’s Gym!
I'm not one to delve into great written detail about anything but simply put, after avidly lifting for six years (22
YEARS OLD), I learned more in my first three weeks at TJ's than I had at the four different gyms I belonged to
prior. Every workout varies immensely, and caters to just about EVERYBODY. The vibe is great; supportive,
motivating, and genuine. All of the coaches encourage feedback and stress the importance of the warm up as
well as going over the basic and complex lifts and exercises before every class. The workouts might have you
row, air squat, push press, run, pull up, or even do handstand pushups. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, YOU WILL GET
IN SHAPE! This place is not for everyone. No complainers, 90%ers, or wallflowers. You've got to be an active
member of the family. Posting your workouts on the glorious discussion board and providing feedback from the
day’s workout. I thought I was in shape before CrossFit. After every workout, I'm still laying on my back, trying to
suck the life back in me! If you’re not doing CrossFit at TJ’s, you’re not working out!
Even though I haven’t been to the gym as often as I would like, and one might label me a “casual
CrossFitter,” the impact my commitment at TJ’s has made on my life has been incredible. I dropped
25 lbs this year and got under 200lbs for the first time in more than a decade. I was also able to do my
first pullup in my life, and I ran my best mile time since I was in high school.
